1970/71 title win the focus of latest Fórum Algirós

The dramatic LaLiga victory will be remembered by four of the protagonists this Thursday

Valencia CF were crowned LaLiga champions for the fourth time in the 1970/71 season, on the final day of the campaign. This Sunday, April 18th, marks the 50th anniversary of the title win.

Despite suffering a defeat at Sarrià at the hands of Espanyol, a 1-1 draw between Atletico Madrid and Barcelona meant that Valencia CF would claim the title.

The day will be celebrated this Thursday in the latest edition of Fórum Algirós, which will feature four members of the squad from half a century ago: Enrique Claramunt, Pepe Claramunt, José Vicente Forment and Antonio M. Martínez “Antón”
