A grandson determined to keep his grandfather from forgetting Mestalla
As a die-hard Valencianista, he has instilled his passion for Valencia CF in his family and, especially, in his grandson, who has become his best ally in the mission of not forgetting Mestalla. Together with VCF MEDIA, they both visited what they consider to be their home in a special moment.
“I have no words to describe Mestalla. I consider it to be my home,” says Juan upon returning there. “I have experienced many victories and many defeats here. I have instilled Valencianism in my family. I was born a Valencianista and I will be one until I die.”
Thanks to his grandson, Juan was able to visit Mestalla for what he expects to be the last time before time takes away his memory.
“It would be very bad for me to forget about Mestalla. In the last game of my life, I don't want to leave this world without saying: Amunt Valencia!" promises the elderly Valencianista.
His grandson, however, is determined to watch another game there with Juan.
"We do not know when this global pandemic will allow us to return to Mestalla, or what the last game of our lives will be. I am sure that we will come back to Mestalla -my grandfather and all of the Valencianistas together, with a great life lesson learned."
