Coquelin dedicated and versatile ahead of final two games
Always available for whatever is required from the team, Francis Coquelin is an example of committment and hard work. Since he joined Valencia CF, the Frenchman has made a strong connection with the dressing room and the fans at Mestalla, and he is motivated to try to help the club qualify for European competition in 2020/21.
In the Matchday 36 meeting with CD Leganés on Sunday night, the versatile team member played in three different positions over the course of 90 minutes. Voro initially fielded him on the right of the midfield, moving him to central midfield after half time and then back into defence in the 74th minute, when Gabriel Paulista was subbed off.

Coquelin epitomises the dedication and sacrifice that have made Valencia CF famous, and he is an example of the effort and adaptability that the team will try to make count in the final two games of the season. The passport to Europe depends on other results, but the players are going to do their part to give themselves the best opportunity.
