Available to him were Hugo Guillamón and José Luis Gayá, who had represented Spain at Under-21s and senior level during the round of international fixtures.
Maxi Gómez undertook specific gym work having arrived back in Valencia following two 2022 World Cup qualifying games for Uruguay in Montevideo and Quito.
Daniel Wass returned to Paterna shortly after his 11am landing in Spain. He had been away on international duty with Denmark to play games against Iceland and England.
Jasper Cillessen and Denis Cheryshev will rejoin the group on Friday.
