Hugo Duro: "What matters is being prepared for LaLiga, but we all like to win"
Valencia CF's perfect preseason continued against Deportivo Alavés, whom they beat 2-0 at the Antonio Puchades.
Work-rate
That's what preseason is for To get into shape little by little, to get the concepts that the coach has. He arrived last year in the middle of the season and so this is how we pick up more ideas, more shape and become more prepared for the Sevilla game.
His fitness
I'm better now after some problems with my hip. It was clear to me that I didn't want to push things after last year, but I'm ready for whatever the coach wants from me.
Preseason
It is still preseason. It is clear that what matters is LaLiga. We like to win, but the important thing is the work in matches and being prepared for the opener against Sevilla.
His personal objective
I have great enthusiasm and a great desire to improve on last year because it is necessary and also important for me. I'm excited.
Ruben Baraja
We were with him for the final part of last season and we are introducing those small details that we couldn't pick up last year due to the situation the team were in. Now we are adapting quickly, we are fully behind the coach and all united.
