VCF Academy organises ‘Torneo FIFA 20 Escuelas Conveniadas’ competition
The VCF Academy have organised the first edition of the ‘Torneo FIFA 20 Escuelas Conveniadas’ competition, which will feature 22 affiliated schools playing the popular videogame and takes place from May 25th to June 1st. The idea for the activity came about in one of the Technical Committee meetings held periodically over the course of the season.

The aim is to further strengthen the ties between Valencia CF and the schools associated with the club, especially during a tough time due to the coronavirus pandemic. The first stage of the tournament gets underway this Monday, with the Last 16 stage on Wednesday, quarter finals on Friday and semifinals & final on June 1st.

Competing in the tournament this week will be: CD Benifaió - Javier Agustí González, Torrent CF - Jordi Bañón Jiménez, Colegio Salgui - Nacho Martínez, Atlético Barrio de la Luz - Hugo Ibáñez Rosell, CD Caxton College - Joan Pedrós Sanderes, CD Utiel - Marcos García Morales, EFB Pinatar - Luís Martínez Vidal, CFB Gandía - Guillermo Tamurejo Martínez, CD Malilla - Guzmán Alegre Navarro, Atlético Llíria - Mario Igual Cantó, CD Onda - Alberto Miguel Contreras, Ribarroja CF - Leonardo Toledo Donate, Ciutat de Xàtiva CFB - Joel Sarrió Nardo, FB Dénia - Pau Moncho, AC Benferri Oleza - Fabio Fernández Carbonell, FBCD Catarroja - Aarón Gonzalez, FD Talavera - Gonzalo Hernán Moreno, la UD Aldaia - Samuel Rausell Taberner, Tavernes Blanques CF - Óscar Urbaneja Casado, Alboraya UD - Albert Bayarri Gómez, CF Atlético Moncadense - Marcos Clemente Castillejo, and FBUE Atlético Amistat - Álex Romero Sornosa.
The format will consist of single game, straight knockout ties, with the champions to be decided next Monday.
