OFFICIAL STATEMENT: GERMÁN VALERA

Valencia CF have reached an agreement with Atletico Madrid for the signing of Germán Valera until June 30th 2028.

The 22-year-old Murcian player (16/03/2002) has signed his new contract as a Valencia CF player for the next four seasons to provide more depth to Rubén Baraja's side on the wings as he can operate on either flank.

He came up through the Atletico Madrid youth system and boasts experience with clubs such as CD Tenerife, Real Sociedad and FC Andorra. He has been capped at international youth level with the Spanish national team (U-16, U-17 and U-18) and joins Valencia CF after a season in which he has 39 appearances for Real Zaragoza.
